What is the Miami Valley Hunt and Polo Club (MVHPC)?

Hmm, how much time do you have? 

Well image ~30 acres of unspoiled natural beauty in the middle of Dayton, surrounded by towering pine trees.  Then imagine a day inside this oasis, filled with relaxed friends and family enjoying company, swimming, playing in the woods and fields, rounded out with one of the area's best sunsets that often ushers in some of the best kept "secret" events around.

We are not a country club nor a neighborhood pool, we're something in between. Think of us as your own country estate with a pool and lots of fun events throughout the year. Our membership  ranges from singles to families to empty nesters.

FAQ

• Can I have a tour of the club before joining? Yes. Call the club and leave a message on our answering machine and someone will call you to schedule a visit. For faster response, message us on our Facebook page. We are a club that is operated by volunteer members. We do not have an office staff.
• Does the pool get crowded? Rarely. We have plenty of pool lounge chairs. It's rare that you won't get a place to sit by the pool. The only times the pool gets crowded are during summer events like 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day and our late summer pig roast. We encourage members to bring camp chairs at our larger annual events, just in case. We also have plenty of tables/seating on our stone terrace.
• Is volunteering a requirement of membership? No, but we love it when our members get involved. It helps keep our club looking beautiful and keeps rates low.

•We're a local oasis for recharging throughout the year, throughout all life stages. 

•Life stages may change, people may move or upsize/downsize their house along the way, but memories and ties made at the Polo Club will remain constant
