What is the Miami Valley Hunt and Polo Club (MVHPC)?

Hmm, how much time do you have? 

Well image ~30 acres of unspoiled natural beauty in the middle of Dayton, surrounded by towering pine trees.  Then imagine a day inside this oasis, filled with relaxed friends and family enjoying company, swimming, playing in the woods and fields, rounded out with one of the area's best sunsets that often ushers in some of the best kept "secret" events around.

Vision Statements

  • We're a local oasis for recharging throughout the year, throughout all life stages
  • We're a "family focused year-round social club with a pool, forged with volunteerism”

  • Life stages may change, people may move or upsize/downsize their house along the way, but memories and ties made at the Polo Club will remain constant
  • Multi-generational membership is accepting of all: singles, singles with kids, families and empty nesters.

Guiding Principles

  • We will welcome new members with a more approachable / relaxed environment than a traditional country club, with the feeling of individual “ownership” and joint comradery.
  • We seek to establish MVHPC as a year-round destination with unique amenities, fun events and communal experiences.
  • We will differentiate ourselves by filling a value proposition void between a traditional country club and a summer swim club. 
  • The spirit of volunteerism from our membership allows for a unique experience while keeping rates and membership numbers low.
